WOW Hut Lotto Volunteer Weekend Camping sign-ups
April 25 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
***Please see below for Hut Lotto deadlines!
Come join the Broadway’s Shot Spot crew and make a difference at Wilderness on Wheels! If you haven’t joined us before, this is a great time to check it out! It’s that time of year again: We will be volunteering our time and energy to WildernessonWheels.org for our fifth time on June 14th, 2025! We will spend about 3 hours volunteering our time on Saturday starting at 11 am and spend the rest of the time partying and enjoying the beautiful environment.
Shared campsites will be assigned at the rate of $5 per person per night unless you want to rent your own site for $25 a night/per site.
Broadway’s Shot Spot Owner Angel has booked the ENTIRE resort for this weekend, and so all rentals must go through her. The good news is ALL campers will be with our group as long as we get enough people to fill the resort. Otherwise, Angel may open up unused sites for WOW to rent and make their money. Even though we may be the only campers there, of course, there will still be other day-guests so please plan to be considerate of them. Follow ALL rules requested by WOW especially around other guests.
June 13th will be Josh and Angel’s 10-year wedding anniversary. There will be a Friday night dinner so we will need to know who will plan on attending. Saturday is volunteer day and there will still be a Saturday potluck. Please sign up for the potluck so we don’t end up with 10 pasta salads again. And Sunday will be Father’s Day. So, invite Dad to come enjoy this wonderful experience with us! Invite as many people as you want! All ages and abilities are welcome at W.O.W at all times!
You better book soon because this weekend is popular, and tent sites will book up fast!
What we have done in the past while volunteering and could possibly be asked to do again:
Clean windows Put away yard games
Prep a cabin for rental use Mitigate Forest
Cut and transport firewood Tear down old metal structures
Replace walkway boards Remove and rebuild benches
Paint benches Paint handrails
Replace flag poles Dig trench
Get vehicles running Clear walkway and boardwalk area of debris
Cut back trees and bushes for driveways and walkways
There is no end in work needed to be done around the resort. So we help with most anything asked. No special skill trades needed but are always welcome. We have noticed some electrical work needs updating if you have those skills and supplies.

Thank you for your consideration and happy camping! This year camping signups for WOW will be a bit different. ALL guests who are camping must pay before they will be assigned a spot. All those who are interested in a hut will need to get a lottery ticket for (a donation to WOW) of $10. The $10 will go towards the payment for the hut for the weekend. The huts go for $25 a night so each party will be responsible for $50 for the weekend. $10 due in order to get your lottery ticket and $40 due in order to get assigned to the winning hut. If you do not pay your $40 by April 27th another winner may be chosen. You may donate more to get additional lottery tickets. One ticket will be issued for each $10 donated. However, regardless of how many lottery tickets you get, only $10 is going towards your weekend costs. You will still owe $40 (If you are assigned a winning hut) but you will have more chances to win and you will have donated more to W.O.W. If you don’t want to sign up for volunteer day but would like to give a cash donation, all proceeds will go to Wilderness on wheels.
