🌲 Wilderness on Wheels Volunteer Weekend 🌲

📍 Wilderness on Wheels (Elevation 8,600 ft)
Join us for a fun and meaningful volunteer weekend! Campsites and huts are first come, first served.
🛠️ Volunteer Event: Saturday, 10:45 AM – 3 PM
Possible projects include:
Cleaning cabins/windows & prepping rentals
Mitigating forest by cutting & transporting firewood
Replacing walkway boards, benches, and flag poles
Painting benches & handrails
Tearing down old metal structures
Clearing walkways & driveways
Electrical updates (skilled help appreciated)
And more! (No special skills needed—all welcome!)
🏕️ Camping & Amenities
Tent & hut camping available: $25 per site or $5/person shared site. Ask about hut availability and pricing.
Friday check-in: 2 PM | Sunday check-out: Noon
Free firewood on site (thanks to volunteers!)
Potluck dinner Saturday night 🍲
Bathrooms at the main area + outhouse
Kitchen with electricity available
Pets welcome (must be on a leash)
💧 Stay hydrated—remember we’re at 8,600 ft elevation!
🔧 Tools Needed: Chainsaws, drills, woodworking tools, pruning tools, painting supplies, wagons, wheelbarrows, gloves, straps, etc. Please bring what you can or notify Angel of what you can provide.
